Quad Kids (Under 11's)

To give our younger athletes a chance to compete in organised competition, Poole Runners participate in the Quad Kids programme.  This is an initiative for Under 11's and is open to Boys and Girls.  We compete across the south against many other clubs and schools and again, Poole Runners do very well at this event.

The event consists of 4 disciplines:
Long Jump
Howler Javelin
75m Sprint
600m run

Once again, we work as a team with all members of the team competing in all events.  The juniors all get behind each other screaming their support.  Parents are welcome  to come along with a picnic and watch and if they can, help with the officiating.  Our older juniors will be competing at the same event and will support their younger team mates, and it's a good chance for the U11's to see other events, like the high jump, hurdles, pole vault and hammer all in action
